When you notice your energy is down and you’re not feeling like you’re in the flow, a very quick and simple exercise is to just start writing about those things that get you feeling like you actually are. All you need is 10 minutes, a timer, a piece of paper and a pen.
Sit down for 10 minutes (set a timer) and make a list of all of the things that make you feel great! Spending time with family, laughing, working with animals or walking in nature, inspiring others, pampering yourself, drawing, cooking, leading a team… whatever it is that lights your fire and fills you up. Just write. Then, when that timer goes off, notice how you feel. Notice how your whole body has lit up with new, vibrant energy. Imagine yourself actually living that way all day every day. All it takes is following your passions. Living your passions. Letting your heart lead your life.
